Classroom culture and climate play a pivotal role in students achieving meaningful educational outcomes.  Class climate reflects the quality of the learning experience, while culture reflects habits and routines typical to the learning environment. The literature on classroom culture and climate is vast, and the number of practices that are recommended can be overwhelming. To help with applying the many recommended practices, NJ PBSIS has organized strategies into four categories:

  1. being predictable
  2. being positive
  3. being present and
  4. being engaging (P3 & E)

P3 & E provides teachers and staff with a user-friendly way to select and use practices that focus on positive classroom culture and climate. To support educators in selecting and using evidenced-based classroom climate and culture practices, NJ PBSIS is proud to announce a new webinar series. "The Classroom Culture and Climate Series" will describe practical strategies educators can use in instructional routines to enhance existing practices.

Attendees register once for the entire series. Each webinar will offer a rich description of practices and opportunities for attendee reflection. While full attendance is encouraged, it is not required. All sessions are schedule for 3 p.m.
